Unfortunately my funds (and Metrocon's inability to make their registration function correctly), have prevented me from going to Metrocon this year. But I am 200% committed to attending MegaCon again next year. By then I'll be more organized.

Yes you are soo right.. I feel as though it's just a money making gimmick.. Do you live around St. Pete - Tampa?? I think in the next following years soon as I get enough people around me .. I'd like to do something better.. not as big but something super fun that wouldn't cost a damn arm and leg to attend!

I used to live in Tampa, but I do live within driving distance to Tampa...I live just south of Lakeland, which is right between Tampa and Orlando.
